Top Secret Elopement in the Muir Woods!

We got to meet Krysten and Crebin for the first time in Portland! They flew in from the Los Angeles area to have an engagement session in the Columbia River Gorge at Latourell Falls.

We were so excited when Krysten and Crebin presented the idea of having an intimate elopement at the Muir Woods National Monument! Only real close family members knew that they were going to elope, but didn't know when or where. They rented a cute AirBNB in Mill Valley, California where they both stayed and helped each other get ready in the morning (we had a 6:30AM start time!). Krysten was going to make her own bouquet, but ended up not having the time to. So within our 15 minute drive from the AirBNB to the Muir Woods we made a couple of road stops to forage plants and make the bouquet for her!

We met up with their awesome officiant, Laura Snead from Rhythm & Light Ceremonies at the Muir Woods and we proceeded to find a spot to hold the ceremony. Having only the bride, groom,  officiant, and us to witness them saying their vows is such a cool experience. We even signed their marriage license :)

After the ceremony was over we took our time exploring the Muir Woods. The giant redwoods made for a beautiful setting and we couldn't be happier with how the day went. Congratulations Krysten and Crebin!
