Photon Studio: Portland Urban Wedding Venue

It’s always really fun working with other creative content creators and Nick and Willow were no exception. When they inquired with us to shoot their Photon Studio wedding we were excited to learn that they are both photographers and videographers. Despite 2020 being full of roadblocks and surprises, they managed to still pull off a beautiful wedding.

Willow got ready at a cute, natural light filled Airbnb in SE Portland. Nick got ready at a private residence in Vancouver, WA. They both knew how important it was that we shoot in natural light so they were very conscious of choosing their prep locations which made our jobs that much easier. After preps were finished we left to capture some urban footage in SE Portland for their first look photoshoot and bridal party portraits.

The ceremony and reception would take place at Photo Studio, which is one of our favorite Portland urban wedding venues. We were able to take the couple out for beautiful golden hour portraits in SE Portland.

Nick and Willow chose Photon Studio because it accommodated all of their guests comfortably and it was a blank slate which is always nice to work with. Their decor was simple, romantic and timeless which we always refer to our brides. The elegant style complimented Photon Studio.
